The World as I See It

As far back as I can remember, I have always been curious. Curious about how things are, how they work, and the mysteries of the universe. In other words, a bit of a nerd. This curiosity is why I am so drawn to academic life. It offers the freedom to explore, the art of writing and building arguments, the joy of sharing knowledge and insights, and the reassuring rhythm of the academic year.

What drives me most is creating impact, particularly for underprivileged communities. To make this world a bit more equitable. I am also deeply moved by the natural world around us—especially forests and mountains—and their humbling beauty. It inspires me every day to advance knowledge to create impact.
